New Ridge Technologies (NRT) develops and manufactures advanced fiber optic subsystems and test and measurement equipment primarily for telecommunication applications. We strive to work closely with our customers to provide them the best products and customized product development services anywhere. These close customer relationships have been responsible for nearly all new products and upgrades over the years. We have built our strong reputation customer by customer, interaction by interaction, design by design.
NRT was founded by former YAFO Networks executives. After the telecom bubble burst in the early 2000s, NRT acquired much of YAFO’s know-how and intellectual property. This became the foundation for the world’s premier line of Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD) sources enabling quantitative PMD tolerance testing of transponders and systems equipment from 10G up to 100G.
As time passed, New Ridge expanded through custom product designs and the development of new products. Although New Ridge is recognized worldwide for our expertise in PMD and Polarization Control solutions, as we move forward, we will expand our domain of expertise and innovate solutions for research, development, manufacturing and deployment of fiber optic communications and systems.
We believe that the needs, requirements and applications for test, measurement and monitoring products has evolved in the past decade. New Ridge strives to develop new product lines to address the demands of today’s market.
